Home Energy Solutions was founded in 2006 to provide Green Building Consulting and Home Performance Contracting in the Piedmont and Foothills of Western North Carolina. We also offer diagnostic testing for North Carolina Energy Conservation Code Compliance.
Lowering utility bills, increasing comfort and improving indoor air quality by providing green building consulting and home performance contracting.
Home Energy Solutions is proud to provide energy rating services to qualify new homes for the ENERGY STAR® label. ENERGY STAR qualified new homes are substantially more energy efficient than homes built to the minimum code requirements. Even in states with more rigorous energy codes, the U.S. EPA ensures that ENERGY STAR remains the symbol for truly energy-efficient performance. These homes are good for businesses, consumers, and the environment.

We are also a partner with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency's Indoor airPLUS Program. Through this partnership, Home Energy Solutions has committed to promoting Indoor airPLUS qualified homes that provide homeowners with improved indoor air quality.
To earn the Indoor airPLUS label, a home must meet strict guidelines set by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency for reducing poor indoor air quality. Indoor airPLUS qualified homes offer homebuyers all the features they want in a new home, moisture and mold control, radon resistant construction, pest barriers, effective heating, ventilating and air-conditioning systems, safe combustion and healthier building materials.
